Thomaston Assembly of God

Reconciling People to God

Pastor Jon & Heather Cuthbertson (Senior Pastor / Women's Ministry)

" Hi there! First off, my wife and I would just like to say, 'Thank you for visiting our website!'

I am a native of the Thomaston, Maine area, and actually grew up attending the church in which my wife and I now pastor!

In 2006, God opened the doors for me to enter into a program called Teen Challenge in New England. God did a tremendous work in my life through that program, and then placed the call in me to serve Him in ministry!

Shortly before I graduated Teen Challenge, while I was washing dishes, God asked me if I would 'go and pastor Thomaston Assembly of God if He wanted me to?' Feeling unworthy and humbled, I responded with a "Yes, I would go." So, long story short, God directed my next steps to Bible College at Faith School of Theology in 2011. I entered into school as a mid-year student, and graduated cum-laude in 2015 with my bachelors degree in Theology.

" The Hour is coming, and is now here, in which the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall Live!" - John 5:25

Joshua & Hepsi Daniel (Assistant Pastor / Children's Ministry)

Joshua and his wife Hepsi both are Preacher's kids who both grew up in India. They made the decision to follow Jesus at a very young age, and since then, they have been actively involved in the ministry and the church activities growing up.

In high school, Joshua had been prophesied over by a prophet, saying that he will 'go to the United States for his studies and for the ministry." After several confirmations, and much prayer, he had finally landed at
Faith Bible College (formerly known as Faith School of Theology) in 2014.

While he was in faith school, he met Pastor Jon Cuthbertson; who was currently still enrolled as a student at Faith. From there, he also met Pastor Jon's wife, Heather. Pastor Jon's relationship with Joshua grew stronger when Joshua was down at Thomaston Assembly of God for a crusade. After prayer and divine connection, Pastor Jon asked if Joshua would join him in helping pastoring the church; based not only from Pastor Jon's leading, but also by the church's interest and by the direction of God.

After their marriage in May of 2015, both Joshua and Hepsi felt Thomaston Assembly of God was their next step in their life journey and are excited to see what God has in store for Thomaston Assembly of God!! They have a heart for the youth and to see Revival in Thomaston.

Rebekah Mack - Missions Director / Overseer

Rebekah Mack is our missions director here at the church. We believe strongly that a church that is mission minded is a healthy church!

Rebekah "Becky" has been with us for a year now, and has been plugged into the church in several ways: from helping out on the worship team, to helping out on the outreach committee, to just recently stepping into the call of God in overseeing our Missions department - which was recently overseen by our dear member, sister Glenice Cutbertson.

Becky and her husband Quentin, who also helps out on the worship team, attended Northpoint Bible College in 2000 - 2001 (formerly know as Zion Bible Institute/College), and have moved to the area of Maine after their wedding in 2002, officially, where they live now with their 5 beautiful kids!

Feel free to find out more about who we support as Missionaries, or feel free to ask any general questions you may have regarding missions to Becky. She can be reached at our mission's email address: click here to email Becky!

Colossians 3:14-15, "But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful."

Philippians 4:6-7, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."
